How to Log In to TIPS

1.  Click HERE to access the TIPS website.  You can also open your favorite web browser and enter: https://tips.southerndesigninc.com into the address bar.

2.  Enter your user name.  Your user name should be your first initial + last name.

3.  Enter your password.  Your initial password will be in the following format:  Upper case first initial  + lower case last name + “123.” (without the quotes).  So, if your name is Bob Wiley, your initial password is “Bwiley123.” (without the quotes).

4.  Click the “Login” button and your Dashboard will open

TIPS Time Entry – Time Entry Using the Online Form

1.  Click HERE to access the TIPS website.  You can also open your favorite web browser and enter: https://tips.southerndesigninc.com into the address bar.  Log in to TIPS.

2.  Select the Week Ending date – By Default, the Week Ending date for the previous week will be selected.

Note:  Each row will contain a unique Job, Cost Code, and Earnings Type combination.

3.  Select a Job From the drop-down under the Job Number column.  If you do not see the Job that you worked on, please contact your manager and ask him to assign you to the Job.

4.  Enter the number of hours worked on the selected Job under the day (Sun, Mon, Tues, etc.) columns.  

5.  Enter a brief Description of what you worked on.

6.  Select the Cost Code, Work Center, and Earnings Type.

7.  Click the SAVE button!

Tip:  You can delete an entire row by clicking the red button to the right of the row.

TIPS Expense Entry – Expense Entry Using the Online Form

1.  Click HERE to access the TIPS website.  You can also open your favorite web browser and enter: https://tips.southerndesigninc.com into the address bar.  Log in to TIPS.

2.  Select the Week Ending date – By Default, the Week Ending date for the previous week will be selected.

3.  Select or enter the Date, Place of Purchase, Expense Type, Expense Amount, Job Number, Cost Code and Comments.

4.  Click the SAVE button!
